The data browser currently displays zones in menus grouped by their regions (applies to dialog tables, map images and mob lists).
From a coding perspective, it would be easier not to do this, but directly put the area names in the menu instead (possibly grouped by initials (e.g. A-H, I-P, Q-Z)); but I'm not sure if this is better from a usability perspective. |

To be honest... navigating the data/regions/etc from the menus is just a poor interface choice. Either of the two choices you propose will still make finding what you want more effort than it should be.
When navigating thru a series of 2D images... something like a photo album or a map of some sort would work better. Also a search text field in the upper right would make finding what you want considerably quicker. |
